An MMA legend in his own right, veteran referee Big John McCarthy has given up his in-cage duties and has inked a new deal with Bellator MMA to serve as commentator alongside UFC import Mike Goldberg.
Lending his expert knowledge to the masses, the man largely responsible for MMA”s unified rule system, and a trained martial artist himself, Big John will likely be one of the very best commentators in the sport today.
The former referee, is making his Bellator commentary debut this evening as part of the Bellator 192 team, and we now have his first official photo with his new braodcast partner Mike “Goldie” Goldberg.
