It would appear that the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is losing one of the promotion’s high profile match ups for UFC Fight Night 124.
UFC Fight Night 124 goes down Sunday night, Jan. 14, inside the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri. The exciting night of fights is set to feature a card full of entertaining match ups. With that in mind, it would appear that the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion will have to go without one of the night’s scheduled bouts.
UFC welterweight Zak Cummings was initially set to face off against Thiago Alves during the night’s event. However, it would appear that the fight is being pulled from the fight card.
An anonymous source has come forward to MMA Imports to reveal that Zak Cummings has suffered an injury following a bad weight cut. As a result, the fighter was allegedly pulled from the fight.
