UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier has come forward with some advice how the WWE should use their newest superstar Ronda Rousey.
Former UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has put on a storied career in the sport of mixed martial arts. But, the UFC superstar made her debut under the WWE banner over the weekend.
WWE’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view took place in Philadelphia on Sunday night, Jan. 28. Following the conclusion of the first women’s Royal Rumble match, Ronda Rousey made her debut in the promotion by walking to the ring in “Rowdy” Roddy Piper’s leather jacket.
ESPN’s Arash Markazi has since taken to social media to report Daniel Cormier’s thoughts on the matter.
“It has to be the same as Brock Lesnar. They squash everybody because in reality they shouldn’t lose to anybody there, right? My whole thing with wrestling is care enough to make me believe it, right? Try to make be believe it. Even when I know the real deal, care enough to show me stuff that matters. Even if we’re pretending, it looks real. Ronda Rousey should go out there and just smash everybody. Ronda Rousey’s matches should look like her early UFC career where she was out there for a minute or two minutes and submitting everybody.”
