Former UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has put on a storied career in the sport of mixed martial arts. That being said, UFC President Dana White has now come forward to confirm that the expansive MMA career of the former title holder is now coming to a close.
Rousey has not competed inside the octagon since back in 2016. The fighter went on a tough two fight losing streak, having been knocked out by Holly Holm before facing a TKO loss to Amanda Nunes.
Since then, Rousey has been keeping herself busy in other ways. Rumors continue to swirl that the former UFC champion is being targeted for a debut in the WWE, as Rousey has also gone on to make a few television appearances as an actor.
Speaking to the Associated Press, White offered his thoughts on Rousey’s potential octagon return.
“She won’t fight again,” White said. “I love that woman. We have an amazing relationship. What she’s done for the sport and for this company, created millions of female fans around the world. Ronda can do whatever the hell she wants to do.”
