Overnight, UFC mega-star Nate Diaz revealed he has ambition to return to the UFC this year, and it only took minutes for former UFC lightweight world champion Eddie Alvarez to offer up his services as a welcome back opponent.
Taking to his verified Instagram, Nate Diaz stated, “Sick of sitting around waiting for you fuckers to do shit there’s no excitement in this fight shit step your games up I’ll see u around may,June. Sincerely The Real Champ”
This prompted the following response from Eddie,
“May-June is perfect @NateDiaz209 , see you then big guy ?? ?#Eastcoastbeastcoast #Ufcmostviolent”

But, Alvarez didn’t stop there, and in a new post the former UFC lightweight champion reminded Nate that he already said he would fight him.
Apparently, Eddie still holds a grudge for this dated Nate Diaz interview that came after Alvarez’s controversial 2015 win over Nate Diaz teammate Gilbert Melendez.
Nate had some pretty harsh words for the former champion in the aftermath of the contest, and even said he would fight Eddie in the future.
Expanding on his first callout to fight Nate Diaz upon Nate’s return, Alvarez dug up this old interview, and sent a new message to the Stockton born super-star.
