It would appear that a group of top UFC female fighters have suffered an unfortunate invasion of their privacy.
With the age of information comes an age of new branded piracy. Thanks to social media and the modern mobile phone, the average individual posts much of their personal information online. What little is left, is often stored digitally to some capacity.
With this in mind, the scenario can be quite frightening for those with information much sought after. To capitalize on this scenario, some have decided to wield technology as a weapon of sorts.
Smart phones and social media accounts have become siphons for hackers to pilfer personal information. While the situation was at one time a rarity, or perhaps simply unknown to most, this scenario is quickly becoming quite rampant.
Most recently UFC’s Raquel Pennington, Jessamyn Duke, Tecia Torres and former UFC competitor Angela Magana have fallen victim to a hacker attack. Nude photos of each of the UFC fighters has leaked onto the internet, following the hacker invasion.
In an extreme violation of privacy, the leaks of UFC female fighters continue to catapult online, with this latest rush of images just being the latest in an online assault against our sport’s females. Miesha Tate was the first victim of such crimes. Now, these four new UFC females must also bare the burden of the nude selfie leak.
We will not endorse this behavior by including images, or the links to images on MMAImports.com. Anyone who takes provocative pictures with their cellphones, be sure you’re protected. Especially the fine athletes at the UFC.
You’ve all been warned.
