Former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and fellow former UFC competitor Chael Sonnen put on a heavyweight war on Saturday, Jan. 20. Now the time has come to check out some of the highlights from the exciting match up.
Fight fans gathered inside The Forum in Inglewood, Calif. on Saturday for the latest highly anticipated fight card from Bellator MMA. The mixed martial arts promotion kicked off Bellator 192 with a fight card full of entertaining match ups.
Headlining the event, “Rampage” Jackson and Chael Sonnen went toe-to-toe in a heavyweight match for division dominance. The fight was the first round of the new Bellator heavyweight tournament grand prix.
The grand prix is set to take place over multiple fight cards throughout 2018 and will ultimately decide the next Bellator heavyweight champion.
At Bellator 192, Sonnen out scored Jackson for a unanimous decision victory. Check out a replay of highlights from the exciting match up in the video above.
