Longtime UFC commentating veteran Joe Rogan has decided to drop some knowledge concerning the future of Ronda Rousey in the UFC.
Former UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has not stepped inside the octagon since suffering her two fight losing streak. Most recently, the fighter faced a TKO loss to Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 back in 2016.
Rousey has not since shown any interest in stepping inside the octagon again. With that in mind, Rousey has yet to officially retire from the sport. Speaking on his podcast Joe Rogan Experience, as seen in the video below, Joe Rogan breaks down his opinion on the matter.
Speaking on Ronda Rousey, Rogan said “Shes done. I’m pretty sure.”
“What I would want to see is her move to a camp that can address the entire game of MMA in a much more comprehensive way.” Rogan later said, when asked about how Rousey would need to train if she returned. “I would want her to go to Matt Hume, or somebody like that.”
“I don’t think she wants to fight.” Rogan continued. “I think at a certain point and time, you have enough money in the bank. You have enough notoriety and fame. She has a lot of aspirations outside of the sport. She’s married now. She might want to start a family.”
