UFC commentator Joe Rogan has some of the best stories in MMA today. He’s not only witnessed countless incidents involving UFC’s biggest stars, he’s also a great story teller.
Joe Rogan recounts the time when someone tried to pick a fight in a bar with a prime Chuck Liddell. Chuck, not backing down, was able to end the fight before it even began, thanks to this move, as told by UFC commentator Joe Rogan.
“I was at a club with Chuck Liddell way back in the day, when he was UFC light heavyweight champ, and some guy had said something to one of his friends, it was some douche moment,” Rogan said.
“Who knows what was going on? Everybody was meatheads. This guy had come over and said something and Chuck Liddell stood up and turned around and looked at him, and this guy looked like he had seen an (expletive) ghost. He looked into Chuck’s eyes, and there is a certain type of dude you don’t start fights with.”
Liddell is one of the greatest UFC champions of all time. He is a former UFC light heavyweight champion. He managed to defend his title on four separate occasions, which included successful title defenses against MMA legends Tito Ortiz and Randy Couture.
