In a brand new interview from yesterday’s award ceremony, where Conor McGregor received a lifetime achievement award from Billionaire Richard Branson, the UFC lightweight champion discussed his fighting and business future candidly, while on stage.
In the interview, Conor McGregor did not confirm that a UFC return was on the horizon, and instead stated that he’s in limbo with the UFC, as he continues to negotiate the terms of a potential 2018 return to action.
For his part, McGregor doesn’t sound certain that a return to action will even happen.
“I’m in kind of a limbo situation, currently in contract negotiation talks with the UFC about a return this year.”
