UFC strawweight champion Rose Namajunas has earned a reputation for mean mugging her opponents with a fiery intensity. With that in mind, it would appear that there is a significant difference in “Thug” Rose’s demeanor since becoming a UFC champion.
Before winning the title, Namajunas was largely focused on displaying an intimidating presence whenever on camera. For instance, the future strawweight champion was in the crowd for UFC 211 back in 2017. Sitting next to former bantamweight champion Holly Holm and bantamweight title challenger Valentina Shevchenko, Namajunas’ vicinity at the show was an easy target for the cameras.
Sure enough, the live broadcast took a moment to span to the group of fighters sitting in the stands. While everyone else put on happy faced for the camera, Namajunas decided to give her meanest face possible.
Appearing in the stands once again for UFC Fight Night 124, now the UFC strawweight champion, Rose Namajunas was all smiles when the camera made its way to her. Check out the stark contrast in the video above.
