The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has offered a taunting message to UFC superstar Nate Diaz following the fighter’s recent decision to make an octagon return.
Nate Diaz last competed inside the octagon in 2016. The fighter put on two mixed martial arts wars with fellow UFC megastar Conor McGregor, with the two fighters now 1-1 in their heated rivalry. With that in mind, Diaz recently took to social media to reveal that he is now gearing up for a return to the UFC.
“Sick of sitting around waiting for you f**kers to do sh*t there’s no excitement in this fight sh*t step your games up I’ll see u around may,June. Sincerely The Real Champ”
Former UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez would go on to call out the fighter over Twitter.
“May-June is perfect @NateDiaz209 , see you then big guy #Eastcoastbeastcoast #Ufcmostviolent”

Now the official Twitter account for the UFC has decided to tease Diaz into facing off against the former champion.
“If @NateDiaz209 is seriously considering returning to the Octagon, looks like @EAlvarezFight is ready to step up to be first in line”
