A new picture of Stipe Miocic’s bruised face from days after the champion’s recent title defense is now making its way around the internet.
UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic put on a war on Saturday night, Jan. 20. The fighter headlined UFC 220 inside the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.
For the highly anticipated title fight, Miocic went toe-to-toe with rising challenger Francis Ngannou. Ngannou had garnered an incredible amount of hype and promotion leading into the fight, as the fighter was riding a stunning knockout over former K-1 champion Alistair Overeem.
That being said, Miocic put on a dominant performance over the knockout artist. The two mixed martial arts warriors went the distance, with Miocic ultimately earning a unanimous decision victory over the fighter.

Taking to Instagram, Miocic stated “The swiffer goat. Pregnant wives with intermittent sea sickness and cleaning OCD are fun! #realitycheck” The champion then offered an image including his bruised face.
