Paige VanZant put on a war in St. Louis, with the fighter even breaking an arm in the process.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) was in St. Louis, Missouri on Sunday night, Jan. 14, to host another exciting night of fights. UFC Fight Night 124 was being hosted by the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion from inside the Scottrade Center for the St. Louis crowd.
While the night offered a fight card full of exciting match ups, the night’s co-main event is beginning to draw some attention from fight fans.
In the co-main event, Paige VanZant made her highly anticipated debut in the female’s flyweight division in a match up against Jessica-Rose Clark. The two mixed martial arts warriors put on an octagon battle for the St. Louis crowd. Yet, VanZant was not looking to be 100 percent after the first round.
VanZant later revealed to her corner that she broke her arm during the first round of the fight. Rather than throwing in the towel, the fighter opted to continue the octagon battle for fight fans worldwide.
VanZant would go on to face a unanimous decision loss to Jessica-Rose Clark. Check out a replay of the action in the video above.
