Ronda Rousey’s entrance into the WWE ranks means that she’s going to have to get back on the horse regarding media and self-promotion.
And it’s a longtime coming.
After losing her second straight UFC title fight to Amanda Nunes, the former dominant face of women’s MMA went completely dark, and vanished from the spotlight.
Having never addressed her hard fought losses in the UFC, or the ridicule she faced as a result of those losses, in her first real interview since her UFC days, ESPN asked her the tough questions.
In the video below, we get to see how emotional discussing her defeats are for her, and while she doesn’t really want to answer any questions on the topic, Ronda is seen in a lengthy silence contemplating how hard those fights were for her.
It’s a fascinating and telling watch. (Note: If you’re a facebook user, and the video below does not load, click here for the direct link.)
