Brock Lesnar had an entertaining run in the world of mixed martial arts. The WWE superstar went on to become the heavyweight champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), before going on a losing streak under the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion. Now it would appear that Lesnar may be looking to get inside the octagon once again.
News source MiddleEasy has reported that Lesnar is reaching the end of his contract with the WWE. Beyond that, the former UFC heavyweight champion is looking to make another octagon appearance in the future.
Here is the original report:
“Rumors have varied but it looks like Brock Lesnar’s contract with the WWE ends in April after WrestleMania. Reports indicate there is an option to extend Lesnar’s deal into August. Despite his suspension all signs still point to Lesnar wanting at least one more UFC payday.”
Lesnar was suspended for one year after failing a drug test for his fight against Mark Hunt back in 2016 at UFC 200. Lesnar returned to the WWE shortly after.
