It would appear that the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has elected to remove several octagon competitors from their roster in the promotion’s latest termination spree.
Competitors within the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion are pinned against some of the toughest and most talented mixed martial artists the world has to offer. As a result, some of those that find themselves inside the octagon eventually succumb to devastating losing streaks.
After a series of fighters began being dealt brutal losses, the UFC decided to terminate the contracts of seven different competitors. Among them, Angela Magana is no longer a fighter under the UFC banner. The MMA warrior suffered her fifth consecutive loss inside the octagon before being cut by the promotion.
Pearl Gonzalez, having never achieved a victory inside the octagon, has also been cut from the UFC’s roster. Here is a look at the seven total fighters to have recently been cut by the UFC:
1. DeAnna Bennett
2. Christina Marks
3. Kiichi Kunimoto
4. Pearl Gonzalez
5. Angela Magana
6. Michael McBride
7. Steve Bosse
