If you ask former UFC champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk, “Thug” Rose Namajunas can’t bust a grape with her punches.
And the former champion stands by that statement, even after getting dropped and finished by them in round 1 of their title fight.
We find this interesting, how one could get stopped with a weak punch, but Joanna swears by this claim.
On Wednesday night, the UFC on FOX crew broke out their punching machine and put the UFC strawweight champion to the test.
Previously, FOX analyst Michael Bisping held the record on the punching meter, but tonight his record got broken.
And while Rose didn’t win tonight’s contest, she only nearly got beat for former two-time UFC title challenger Kenny Florian, proving her punch does have more might than Joanna might be leading on.
The video is great!
Check it out:
Michael @Bisping's punching machine record has fallen!
But who broke it? Was it @twooodley? @kennyflorian? @HypeOrDie? @rosenamajunas? https://t.co/VcNi1genUy
