WWE’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view went down in Philadelphia on Sunday night, Jan. 28, and featured a surprise appearance from a UFC superstar. Ronda Rousey has made her WWE debut.
Rumors that the former UFC bantamweight champion was making a transition into the WWE have been going on for some time now. However, the target date for Rousey’s first appearance had not been revealed.
Rather, Rousey surprised the world by walking to the ring at the recent Royal Rumble. The former UFC champion sported “Rowdy” Roddy Piper’s leather jacket and used the WWE legend’s classic flame font on the Titantron.
Now the professional wrestling and MMA communities are taking to social media to share their thoughts on the momentous occasion. Check out what many had to say about Rousey’s big WWE debut in the posts below:

If @RondaRousey is completely 100% invested in @WWE and WWE is 100% invested in Ronda, she could go down as the biggest female superstar in WWE history.
