Few UFC superstars have entered a rivalry as heated or as entertaining as that of Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz. The two mixed martial arts warriors have been going at it for years now.
Diaz choked “Notorious” out for a definitive victory over the Irish megastar in their first match up inside the octagon. However, McGregor walked away with a close decision victory in the rematch.
Now 1-1 in their rivalry, many fight fans are fervently waiting for the two mixed martial arts warriors to step inside the octagon for a potentially UFC pay-per-view record breaking trilogy rematch.
While a rematch has yet to be locked in, McGregor appears to be using some of Nate Diaz’s most famous lines to help promote himself in his other ventures.
Leading up to their first match up, Diaz had the following to say over Twitter “He’s going to have to get on his knees and beg…” The fighter was being targeted as McGregor’s next opponent, but Diaz quickly made his thoughts on the matter clear over social media.
Since then, Conor McGregor has decided to add the same language to his own repertoire. The fighter even recently used a phrase almost identical to Diaz’s.
Commenting on Khabib Nurmagomedov’s recent victory over Edson Barboza, “Notorious” offered a heated rant over social media. During the rant, the fighter stated “Truly truly truly get on your f**king knees and beg me. Otherwise I don’t give a bollox.
My whiskey is out this year and thats Diddy bread.”
Truly truly truly get on your fucking knees and beg me. Otherwise I don't give a bollox.
