Chris “Lights Out” Lytle retired from the UFC on the winning end of things in 2011, with submission win over former UFC title challenger Dan Hardy.
It’s been nearly seven years since the fan favorite former pro-boxer/mma fighter last saw competitive action.
That all changed late Saturday night when the fan favorite returned to action in London in a legit bareknuckle boxing match.
Lytle, who always possessed spectacular hands, mixed with a submission savvy ground game successfully picked his opponent apart, and earned a quick knockout in Saturday’s return to action.
The Indiana Native has worked cornerman duties for top heavyweight Matt Mitrione for years, so he’s not been toofar removed from the fight scene all this time. He also dabbled in politics, and is a full blown firefighter.
