Former UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey shocked the world when he made her WWE debut at Sunday night’s Royal Rumble in Philly.
And though she did not compete in the event, her debut was made and she stood off with the promotion’s notable females (replay above).
Now, as we continue to sift through the aftermath of Sunday Night, the WWE has announced who they are working on pairing Ronda Rousey with at her match debut at this year’s Wrestlemania.
According to sources within the Organization, Ronda Rousey’s likely debut tag team partner will be Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. And the duo will pair up with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.
Talk about rolling out the red carpet…
In addition to this match, the promotion is also eyeing Ronda Rousey’s first single pairing match up with Sunday Night’s Royal Rumble winner, Asuka. Asuka is presently undefeated in the WWE. However, according to sources they’re looking to make Ronda Rousey the promotions new top female star.
Ronda will be making her first match on April 8, one day after the UFC’s Khabib vs. Ferguson event.
