As recent as this past weekend, Nigerian born Israel Adesanya expanded on his unbeaten record with a dominant victory in Australia. He’s now 12-0 all victories coming via knockout.

Another Nigerian born fighter in Kamura Usman is on the cusp of greatness in the UFC’s welterweight division. The fighter is on an 11 fight winning streak, and has looked dominant in every single one of his UFC bouts.
It’s no surprise though, as the Nigerian fight scene is a brutal one, with deep roots.
