Ben Saunders Knocked Out Cold By Alan Jouban In Televised Show Opener | UFC Results

Orlando, Fla. is hosting a series of exciting fights tonight, Feb. 24, inside the Amway Center. The highly anticipated fight card for UFC on FOX 28 will be going down for the Orlando crowd, offering fight fans a night of exciting match ups.

Kicking off the night’s preliminary card on FS1, welterweights Ben Saunders and Alan Jouban are going toe-to-toe for division dominance. Check out the UFC results from the match up down below.

The fight kicked off with a furry. Saunders fired off with a leg kick, but Jouban retaliated with a right hand. The two fighters began to slow their pace, in an effort to test each other’s range and power.

Holding their ground in the center of the octagon, the two mixed martial arts warriors began throwing down with swift combinations. Jouban appeared affected by the exchange, as the fighter began distancing himself from his opponent.

With two minutes left in the round, Jouban began to land some serious bombs that slowed down the onslaught of Saunders. Still, neither fighter appeared interested in backing down.

With a minute left to go, Jouban managed to drop his opponent with a brutal strike. However, Saunders quickly made it back to his feet and managed to survive the round.

The second round opened up at a blistering pace as well. Jouban began to pour on the pressure, hurting Saunders with a series of combinations.

Saunders managed to dish out some damage from the clinch with his brutal knee strikes. However, Jouban appeared to be getting the better of his opponent in the striking. He lands his shot, and knocks Saunders out cold.
