Brendan Schaub Makes Controversial Racial Comments About All Black UFC On FOX Crew

Belem, Brazil hosted an exciting night of fights over the weekend. The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) came to town with the offering of UFC Fight Night 125 for the Belem crowd.

The fight card featured a series of entertaining match ups, including a victorious octagon performance from a UFC legend. Former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida faced off against Eryk Anders in a five round war. Machida ultimately walked away with a close decision victory.

After the event Yves Edwards, Karyn Bryant and Tyron Woodley offered their thoughts on UFC on FOX’s post-fight show. Now former UFC heavyweight Brendan Schaub has come forward with some controversial comments on the matter.

As seen in the video above, Schaub stated:

“Sometimes you are looking at UFC tonight and you’re like ‘Is that the best panel possible or are you just trying to check off the boxes?’ We get it, UFC Tonight on FOX. You’re not racist. We get it. You have an all black panel.

“Are those the best brains and speakers for the art, to the general audience?”
