Not one single person on the planet, enjoyed watching Luke Rockhold get knocked out in the UFC 221 main event more than former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman.
That’s because he fought Luke once, and got brutally dominated, losing his world title in one of the most crushing defeats of his career.
It was the Rockhold loss that lost Weidman his UFC belt, and set him on a path to lose three straight fights.
Of course, Weidman also lost to Yoel Romero, but nothing can be as sweet for Chris as seeing the man who took his belt get crushed in devastating fashion.
Chris Weidman was in attendance at Saturday’s UFC 221 event, and from the front row, he was looking very, very smug as Yoel put the finishing touches on his rival.
