Phil Brooks, better known by his WWE moniker CM Punk, has taken to social media to hint at a possible octagon return set for UFC 225.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) announced the new event today, as the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion is now set to host UFC 225 in Chicago, Illinois. The event will be featured live on pay-per-view and is now set for June 9.

CM Punk has not competed inside the octagon since his tough submission loss to Mickey Gall back in 2016. However, the former WWE superstar turned fighter has been training his skills ever since. With rumors of Punk’s UFC return now swirling, Phil Brooks has taken to Twitter to hint that he will be stepping inside the octagon at UFC 225.
Taking to Twitter, Punk responded to the UFC’s announcement of the event with the following message.
