UFC superstar Nate Diaz has not competed inside the octagon since entering a two fight war with Conor McGregor in 2016. However, Diaz has since hinted to being interested in a UFC return. Now UFC President Dana White has come forward with an update on the fighting phenom.
Speaking to TMZ Sports, White offered a phew words on the possibility of Diaz’s return.
“We’ve been offering [Nate Diaz] fights.” White said. “Guys don’t just come out and say ‘I want fights’ and then we don’t react on it. We’ve been hitting him up since the last time he fought, offering him fights and he’s not interested in fighting. I don’t know why he’s saying it.”
“I don’t even know what fight he wants,” White continued. “Obviously, if Conor [McGregor] was available, he’d take that fight. It’s a big money fight for sure.”
