UFC President Dana White and longtime UFC commentating veteran Joe Rogan are more than just voices of the mixed martial arts world. Both individuals have backgrounds in combat sports.
Joe Rogan was once a competitive kickboxer, as the color-commentator is a black belt in Taekwondo. Beyond that, Rogan earned a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu’s Eddie Bravo.
While Dana White may not have a large history in grappling, the UFC president is a former amateur boxer. Both men have seemingly remained in shape through the years. Dana White is certainly the larger figure.
Speaking on The Dan Patrick Show, White recently offered his thoughts potentially meeting Joe Rogan inside the octagon.
“Joe Rogan is a very well rounded guy.” White said. “He was a Taekwondo champion, and he’s a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. I would not like to fight Joe Rogan. No, I’m good with that.”
