Four Days After Getting Knocked Out, Luke Rockhold Releases Statement

Last weekend’s UFC 221 main event was nothing like Luke Rockhold envisioned.

Instead of fighting Robert Whittaker for the undisputed UFC world title, Luke got placed against last minute replacement Yoel Romero for the interim world title, and Yoel didn’t even make championship weight.

After two rounds of controlling most of the action, Luke would end up getting knocked out by the 40-year-old Cuban Olympic medalist, and his dreams of becoming a two-time world champion were put to bed.

Now, 4 days removed from the night, and Luke has sent out the following statement:

We live, we learn and we grow. I’m not here to simply exist.
