Former UFC welterweight champion Johny Hendricks has found himself on a bit of a losing streak as of late. The former title holder has only won a single match of his last six octagon performances. Now a mixed martial arts veteran has decided to come forward and claim that Hendricks was an alleged steroid user earlier in his career.
Matt Brown is a veteran of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). With that in mind, Brown has thrown down with a bevy of fighters through the year. Among them, the MMA warrior squared off with Johny Hendricks just before the implementation of USADA into the UFC.
Speaking with Joe Rogan, as seen in the video below, Matt Brown revealed that he believes the implementation of USADA made a large difference on Hendricks’ fight game. “I think Johny Hendricks was probably the most obvious.” Brown said.
Matt Brown suffered a unanimous decision loss to Johny Hendricks at UFC 185 back in 2015. For Brown’s full thoughts on Hendricks, check out the video below.
