Emmett Breaks Silence On Controversial Main Event Loss, Shows Off Battle Wounds

Team Alpha Male warrior Josh Emmett faced off against Alliance MMA’s Jeremy Stephens over the weekend. After things did not go Emmett’s way, the fighter has now come forward with a statement concerning his recent loss.

Emmett and Stephens headlined the weekend’s highly anticipated fight card of UFC on FOX 28. The event took place on Saturday night, Feb. 28, inside the Amway Center in Orlando, Fla.

Stephens ultimately earned a knockout victory over his opponent in the second round. However, the finish has since come under controversy.

Stephens landed a series of blows that ultimately put Emmett away. Among them, some are now claiming Stephens landed an illegal knee to the head and a collection of illegal elbows.

Now Josh Emmett has come forward to offer his thoughts on the matter.

“Just gonna put some ice on it and I’ll be back! I appreciate all the kind words and concerns. Hats off to @lilheathenmma, you know we will be running that back sometime in the future.”
