UFC featherweight Josh Emmett put on a brutal war in his latest octagon performance. Now it would appear that the Team Alpha Male warrior suffered some injuries in the process.
Orlando, Fla. hosted a brilliant night of fights over the weekend. The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) took to the Amway Center within Orlando to offer fight fans the highly anticipated fight card of UFC on FOX 28.
Headlining the night’s card, Josh Emmett faced off against Alliance MMA’s Jeremy Stephens. The two mixed martial arts warriors went toe-to-toe for the Orlando crowd in a display of world level talent.
Both fighters managed to dish out some serious damage from the match up, with Stephens ultimately earning a controversial finish in the second round.
Stephens earned a knockout victory after landing a series of blows on Emmett. The fighter allegedly landed an illegal knee and a series of illegal elbows to the head of Emmett, leading to the controversy behind the finish.
Now ESPN’s Brett Okamoto has gone to social media to report that Josh Emmett suffered three orbital bone fractures from the highly intense match up.
