Fight fans are pouring into the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas tonight for the latest event from the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). The world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion is hosting the highly anticipated fight card of UFC Fight Night 126 for the Austin crowd, providing fans with a night full of entertaining match ups.
Kicking off the night’s preliminary card on FS1, bantamweights Sarah Moras and Lucie Pudilova are throwing down for division dominance. The UFC results for the exciting match up can be seen below.
The fight fired off with a bang, as Moras blasted her opponent with a flurry of strikes. After landing a strong punch combination, Moras locked in a successful takedown attempt over Pudilova.
With half of the round left, Moras continued to pummel her opponent with vicious ground and pound. Pudilova appeared to not have an immediate answer for the fighter’s aggressive ground game.
The referee opted to stand the two fighters up with just one minute left in the round. Pudilova took advantage of the moment and opened up with a flurry over the fighter, dropping Moras to the canvas.
Moras locked in a submission attempt on her opponent, offering the fighter a chance to survive to the end of the round.
The second round kicked off at the same brutal pace. Pudilova came forward with a vengeance, pummeling her opponent with some stunning strikes.
After getting Moras to the mat, Pudilova shifted to side control and began dishing out some ground and pound to her opponent.
With two minutes left in the round, Pudilova continued to rain down shots from the dominant position on the canvas. Pudilova allowed her opponent to stand with just under a minute in the round, with Pudilova dropping the fighter in the final moments of the round.
The two mixed martial arts warriors opened the final round at a slower pace. Both fighters appeared gassed from their intense two round octagon war, leading to a more patient exchange of shots.
With two minutes left on the clock, Pudilova appeared to be getting the better of her opponent in the standup. Pudilova continued to pressure her opponent, but Moras was not looking to back down.
The fighter continued to dish out counters, before landing a successful takedown on Pudilova. In the final moments of the round, Pudilova managed to reverse her position and dish out some brutal strikes before the sound of the bell.
This one has gone the distance.
