A rather unexpected knockout performance took place on Friday night, Feb. 2, as Timothy Woods managed to accidentally knock himself out during his recent match. The fighter would ultimately be carried out on a stretcher following the incident.
CES 48: Wiuff vs. Rebello took place on Friday night, offering fight fans a collection of interesting match ups. During the night of fights, Timothy Woods faced off against Tim Caron in a battle for division dominance.
Woods locked in a whizzer on his opponent and attempted to toss the fighter to the canvas. However, Woods struck his head on the mat as the two fighters went down.
Woods was knocked out from the impact, bringing a stop to the contest. The fighter remained on the canvas for some time, as officials began checking over Woods.
