UFC superstar Ronda Rousey has not competed inside the octagon since going on a two fight losing streak in 2016. That being said, the former UFC bantamweight champion has been keeping herself busy in other ways.
On Jan. 28, after weeks of rumors and speculation, Rousey made her WWE debut. The octagon warrior shocked Philadelphia with her presence at the first ever women’s Royal Rumble, walking to the ring in WWE legend Roddy Piper’s iconic leather jacket.
Rousey did not compete at the event, but rather left a mark in the minds of all the women that did. Taking to the ring, the former UFC title holder managed to snare the attention of the crowd before the show’s end.
Now photographer Michael Mardones has taken to social media to share a photo of Ronda Rousey going to work at a wrestling academy. In the Instagram post below, Rousey can be seen dishing out a mean suplex as she hones her skills in preparation for her first match inside the squared circle.
