UFC heavyweight Travis Browne has been removed from the official UFC rankings, leaving some to believe that the fighter has been either cut from the roster or has chosen to retire. While the current condition of Browne’s contract with the UFC is not yet known, the fighter has mysteriously been taken out of his ranking position.
Travis Browne is currently coming off of a losing streak. The fighter most recently suffered a second round submission loss to Alexey Oleynik at UFC 213. The defeat made for Browne’s fourth consecutive loss, with his most recent victory having been against Matt Mitrione in 2016.
Browne’s position in the UFC heavyweight rankings was first replaced by a blank space, as seen in the photo below:
Later, the fighter’s ranking position would be filled, with a new competitor making their way into the top 15.
Browne has earned a record of 18-7 throughout his illustrious career in the sport of mixed martial arts. The fighter is also married to UFC superstar turned WWE wrestler Ronda Rousey.
