That Time Cat Zingano Slapped Miesha Tate In The Face

UFC bantamweight queen Cat Zingano has faced off against and defeated some of the sport’s toughest fighters during her illustrious career as a mixed martial artist. With that in mind, there is one moment in Zingano’s career that particularly stands out to many fight fans.

Cat Zingano has earned victories over the likes of now reigning UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes and Raquel Pennington. However, one of the fighter’s most stunning performances was her TKO stoppage over former champion Miesha Tate.

During the fight, Zingano dished out some ground and pound over the former UFC title holder. In one instance, Zingano decided to back hand Tate with a powerful slap to the face.

The moment has since gained some attention from fight fans as being one of the most dominant moves dishes out against such a tough competitor. Check it out in the video above.

Cat Zingano is now gearing up for her big octagon return. The fighter will be facing off against Ketlen Vieira at UFC 222. The event will take place March 3 inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nec.
