Interim UFC lightweight champion Tony Ferguson is set to face off against top contender Khabib Nurmagomedov for the undisputed UFC lightweight title at UFC 223. With that in mind, “El Cucuy” has now entered a Twitter war with Nurmagomedov’s manager.
Ali Abdelaziz, manager to Nurmagomedov, recently took to Twitter to poke fun at Tony Ferguson.
“Are you sure @TonyFergusonXT you want do this @TeamKhabib”

However, Ferguson has since come forward with a heated message. Referencing Nurmagomedov’s missed weight in their most recently cancelled match up, Ferguson stated:
“Why Do You Let This Joke Talk For U @TeamKhabib ? Sounds Exactly Like Last Time When After All This Sh*t Talk Someone Ended Up Ducking Me @ #UFC206 Don’t Let That Sh*t Happen Again. I MADE Weight. YOUR Team Fucked It Up & You Cost Me A Check Bish’, I’m Here To Collect.”
