“Notorious” shocked the world with his swift knockout victory over Jose Aldo for the featherweight title. The fighter then made history with his stoppage victory over Eddie Alvarez, making McGregor the only fighter to ever wield multiple UFC titles simultaneously.
With that in mind, McGregor is known for more than just his performances inside the octagon.
The brash Irish mega-star is one of the industries most outspoken trash-talkers. The only fighters to hold a candle to Conor’s mic skills are Chael Sonnen and Muhammad Ali.
And while we can’t get a battle between McGregor and the boxing great, Chael Sonnen is still around and yes, this happened.
