The UFC Announces Multiple New Fights, And A New Event For 2018

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is gearing up for another series of exciting fight nights. Now the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion has locked down new match ups for an upcoming card, as well as announced a new card entirely.

UFC 225 is set to go down June 9 inside the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. As reported by The Chicago Tribune, the UFC has locked a down a pair of exciting fights for the card.

Flyweights Joseph Benavidez and Sergio Pettis are now locked in for UFC 225. Among them, heavyweights Rashad Coulter and Allen Crowder will also go toe-to-toe for the Chicago crowd.

UFC 225’s main card will air live on pay-per-view for fight fans worldwide.

The UFC has officially announced a yet to be titled fight night card for May 19. The event will take place inside the Movistar Arena in Santiago, Chile.

Five fights have been confirmed for the exciting card. Bantamweights Diego Rivas and Guido Cannetti will brawl it out for the Chile crowd. Strawweight warriors Alexa Grasso and Tatiana Suarez will finally meet inside the octagon for the event.

Poliana Botelho and Syuri Kondo are also set to go toe-to-toe within the strawweight division. In a welterweight war, Vicente Luque and Chad Laprise will face off for division dominance.

Lastly, Andrea Lee will finally make her long awaited octagon debut as she faced off against Veronica Macedo in a flyweight match up.
