Weekend UFC Card Loses Marquee Bout On Five Days Notice

It would appear that the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is now short one match for the promotion’s incipient fight card.

UFC Fight Night 126 is set to go down this weekend, Feb. 18, inside the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas. In the night’s main event, UFC welterweight Donald Cerrone will face off against Yancy Medeiros in a war for division dominance. With that in mind, the exciting fight card has lost one of its scheduled match ups.

As reported by MMA Fighting, former WSOF women’s strawweight champion Jessica Aguilar has been removed from the card. The fighter was initially set to face off against Livinha Souza.

However, Souza was pulled from the match up after suffering a hand injury. Now Aguilar has been removed from the card entirely, scrapping a match up for the night’s event.
