UFC 222 Co-Main Event Fighter Still Sleeps On Floor After Coming Up On The Struggle

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is getting ready to put on another show for fight fans worldwide. This time around, the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion is preparing for the highly anticipated fight card of UFC 222.

Co-headlining the night’s event, former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar will be facing off against Brian Ortega. Edgar was initially set to face off against UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway.

However, Holloway pulled out of the event after suffering an injury. Consequently, Edgar will now be facing off against Ortega for the exciting card.

The UFC recently released “UFC 222 Embedded: Vlog Series – Episode 1” in promotion of the fight card, offering an interesting insight into the life of Brian Ortega. Within the video, Ortega reveals that he still sleeps on the floor.

“I have a room and a bed, but I always sleep on the floor.” Ortega said.

When asked why, the fighter responded “The way I grew up. I grew up always sleeping on couches and floors, so I think I’m just king of comfortable there.”

UFC 222 goes down March 3 inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. The event will be featured live on pay-per-view.
