The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is gearing up for another exciting night of fights. With that in mind, two of the promotion’s upcoming headliners have finally gotten a chance to meet face-to-face for an intense staredown.
Women’s UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes is now set to make her next title defense. For the exciting match up, Nunes will be throwing down with tough division contender Raquel Pennington.
Pennington is riding a stunning four fight winning streak at the moment. Most recently, the fighter earned a unanimous decision victory over former women’s UFC bantamweight champion Miesha Tate.
Now Pennington and Nunes will be facing off for the title at UFC 224. The live pay-per-view event will take place May 12 in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. The two women’s bantamweight warriors will be featured in the night’s main event.
