Women’s UFC bantamweight Cat Zingano made her long awaited octagon return over the weekend. Following the fighter’s razor thing decision loss, Zingano has come forward with a statement.
Cat Zingano is a mixed martial arts phenom that has taken on some seriously tough and talented opponents over the years. The fighter finished former women’s UFC bantamweight champion Miesha Tate, before earning a TKO finish over now reigning champion Amanda Nunes.
The fighter even submitted Raquel Pennington, before making her way to Miesha Tate. With that in mind, Zingano has been away from the sport of mixed martial arts for some time.
Rebounding from difficult circumstances, Zingano made her big UFC return at UFC 222. The event went down inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. on Saturday, March 3.
Zingano faced off against Ketlen Vieira for the fight, kicking off the night’s highly anticipated live pay-per-view main card. The two mixed martial arts warriors ultimately went the distance, putting on a show for the Las Vegas crowd.
However, in the end, Vieira earned a razor thing split decision victory over the bantamweight warrior. Now Cat Zingano has come forward with a statement concerning her recent loss.
“That’s the cool thing about this sport, shows you exactly where you’re at. Happy to be cracking again @ufc”
