Women’s UFC bantamweight Cat Zingano has come forward to request another fight inside the octagon. This time around, the mixed martial arts warrior is looking to get back inside the cage within the next two months.
Cat Zingano has put on a storied career in the sport of mixed martial arts. Making her way onto the roster of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), Zingano has faced off and defeated some of the sport’s toughest and most talented competitor.
Zingano earned a second round submission finish over Raquel Pennington before making her debut inside the octagon. In her first UFC fight, Zingano sank in a third round TKO victory over former women’s UFC bantamweight champion Miesha Tate.
The fighter would then go on to earn a third round TKO finish over now reigning women’s UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes. Having returned from a lengthy hiatus from the sport, Zingano is now coming off of a tough split decision from UFC 222.
With that in mind, the fighter has now taken to social media to ask longtime UFC matchmaker Mick Maynard to lock in a fight for her on May 19.
