Cat Zingano Shows Off Her Post-Fight Battle Wounds, Following Disappointing UFC 222 Defeat

Women’s UFC bantamweight Cat Zingano made her long awaited octagon return over the weekend. Following her three round war, the mixed martial arts phenom has now taken to social media to share photos of her battle wounds.

Zingano is perhaps as tough as they come. The fighter has faced off against and defeated some of the most talented MMA warriors under the UFC banner during her career.

On a warpath, Zingano managed to submit Raquel Pennington, TKO former champion Miesha Tate and TKO now reigning champion Amanda Nunes in a stunning three fight winning streak. However, the fighter’s most recent octagon performance did not quite go her way.

Zingano faced off against Ketlen Vieira at UFC 222 on Saturday night, March 3, after nearly two years away from the sport. The two fighters entered a brutal exchange that would ultimately go the distance.

In the end, Vieira earned a close split decision victory over her opponent. Now Zingano has taken to social media to share photos of her damaged ankle and various bruises from the recent exchange.

Check them out below:

“Minimal damage. Just a fat ankle and some bruises. On to the next!!”

“Mmmmm. Checked kicks are fun.”
