Cat Zingano Still ‘100 Percent’ Believes She’s Best Women’s Bantamweight in the World

Women’s UFC bantamweight Cat Zingano has come forward to claim her place as the best in her division. The mixed martial arts phenom already believes the fact to the be true and is now setting out to prove it.

Cat Zingano has put on a storied career in the sport of mixed martial arts. The fighter has faced off against some of the world’s toughest and most talented competitors.

Zingano stifled former women’s UFC bantamweight champion Miesha Tate with a third round TKO victory, before earning the same result in a battle against now reigning women’s UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes.

Now Zingano is gearing up for her big octagon return. This time around, the MMA phenom will be facing off against Ketlen Vieira at UFC 222.

The event will go down March 3 inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. The event will be featured live on pay-per-view.

Speaking to MMA Fighting ahead of her exciting match up, Zingano has offered an inside look into her mindset leading up to UFC 222. During the interview, Zingano made the claim that she is the best 135 pound competitor in the women’s UFC division.

“I 100 percent think I am the best 135 pound girl in the world. I always have. I never lost that. I do realize that there are circumstances that go into proving it. The point is that proving it is what matters. There’s proof in the history of it.”
