UFC middleweight CB Dollaway suffered a devastating late shot to the head during his recent octagon war with Hector Lombard. Now the fighter has come forward with his thoughts on the matter.
Lombard and Dollaway faced off inside the octagon over the weekend, as the fighter were featured on the fight card for UFC 222. At the end of the first round, Lombard caught a body kick from his opponent.
At the sound of the bell, the fighter fired off two late punches. The second strike rocked Dollaway and put a stop to the contest. Lombard suffered a loss via disqualification for the incident.
As seen in the video above, Dollaway has since come forward with his opinion on the matter.
“The first one I can kind of see as a reaction, but the second shot I believe in my mind was on purpose.” Dollaway said. “Heard through the grapevine a lot of people say he’s a dirty fighter. I don’t think it was accidental. I think that’s just kind of who he is.”
