UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson and UFC bantamweight title holder T.J. Dillashaw are looking to set up a super fight against one another. With that in mind, UFC flyweight warrior Henry Cejudo has come forward to offer his thoughts on the matter.
Henry Cejudo had his shot at “Mighty Mouse” back in 2016, ultimately suffering a first round TKO loss to the flyweight champion. With that in mind, Cejudo believes T.J. Dillashaw has little chance against the title holder.
Speaking to MMA journalist Ariel Helwani on the latest edition of The MMA Hour, Cejudo said:
“I have Demetrious by a landslide, to be honest with you.”
“I think Demetrious’ speed, he’s intelligent, nothing to take away from T.J. I’ve said it before, I think it’s just a weight issue. I think it’s T.J. getting down those extra 10 pounds and how he recovers the next day. I think that’s the biggest factor in that fight.”
“I’ve talked to a lot of MMA guys that have gone down in weight class who are like, ‘I know what you’re talking about here.’ Making that extra 10 pounds is a big difference. Now, T.J. at 135 is a different game for Demetrious.”
“As a competitor, as someone in the weight class, I think it’s good.”
“I think its cool that they do fight, but I feel like I already know the outcome.”
